Why are baseball games so long nowadays?
From what I've noticed, baseball games are lasting longer nowadays due to several factors. One major reason is the increased reliance on analytics and strategy, which means more pitching changes and longer at-bats. On top of this, increased commercial time during broadcasts and several rule changes also contribute to the lengthening of games. Furthermore, the instant replay system can add a significant amount of time. All these elements combined make games drag on longer than they used to.
